Just the other day when i was handed back my maths test (passed! but only by 1%) and was pretty happy with my result as we hadn't done much on what was on the test, when the girl (i'll name her Snobbers, you'll find out later) sitting next to me, asks me what i got on my test. Reluctantly, I did and boy do i regret it! Heres why:
Snobbers: Oh, you only got 51%
Me: uh, yeh...so?
Snobbers: Well, thats great its just...
Me: what?
Snobbers:you got a lot wrong didn't you?
Me: so? im happy with my score.
Snobbers: Oh yeah, I know but then again you are blonde! *laughs with friends*
I sat there thinking "what?" it wasnt a very harsh comment "your blonde" but it got me thinking that if she thinks that because i got a low score on my maths test im suddenly stupid because i also just HAPPEN to be blonde?
Snobbers is a snob. Shes, judgemental, mean and just SNOBBY!!!!
Oh well, it doesnt really matter I guess.
I'll think of some comment to make back at her...you'll see.
Some comments of situations where youve been judged or stereotyped would be great!
